Just received my ProTemp 70K BTU kerosene heater yesterday and had a chance to try it out. Overall very pleased. The thing makes plenty of heat for my 2-car garage/workshop and works perfectly. Seems like it should last for 10-20 years of occasional use with proper maintenance. Fuel consumption was pretty moderate - I burned about a gallon and a half of kero with the unit cycling on/off using the thermostat for about 5 or 6 hours. As the design/features of these things is pretty standard, I'll just try to highlight anything that's out of the ordinary: PROS Works great, plenty of heat, and the thermostat works pretty well. Didn't trigger my CO alarm. A pump pressure gauge is mounted in the rear of the unit, which makes flame adjustment a breeze. Accessory plug could be handy Weight is just right - enough to feel substantial and well built but not too heavy to move around with one hand. Suprisingly compact. It fits nicely on a big utility...
